What we're about
Hi ladies! This group is for Black Women living in Brooklyn (you can live in other boroughs as well), who seek community with other growth-oriented, genuine, humble, introspective women.
We will plan activities such as brunches, theater, outdoor activities, events, and etc to create a space for connecting and bonding with the goal of building a sisterhood. The events will be primarily located in Brooklyn but I will add Manhattan and Harlem events as well.
To keep the group thriving, there will be a strict reservation policy whereby if you don’t update your RSVP to events at least 24 hours before you will be removed from the group. This is to allow others who plan to attend to be able to join events and etc. as some events will have limits in terms of guest count.

Hey ladies! What better way to spend your Saturday afternoon than learning about the history of the Underground Railroad in NYC. The horrors of slavery are never an easy topic but this tour also shines a light on the triumphs and journey to freedom for our people in NYC.
Description
On this tour, you’ll be able to see the city’s first slave market and learn about the origins of slavery in colonial New York. With your tour guide, you’ll learn about the secret escapes of the underground railroad and view a former stop along this famous route. The African burial ground is a powerful tribute to the country’s earliest known African and African American cemetery, which you’ll also have the chance to visit on the tour. Discover new facts about the riots, revolts and dramatic escapes brave men and women were a part of - this is a story of courage and triumph told in a new way.

Let’s do a Lobster Cruise to celebrate Memorial Day weekend!
Description
North River Lobster Company is New York City’s only floating lobster shack, a New York institution since 2014. Located at Pier 81 on West 41st Street and the Hudson River. Be our guest and enjoy delicious lobster rolls, cold buckets of beer, frozé and refreshing cocktails, amidst breathtaking views of New York City’s skyline.
We cruise up the Hudson River throughout the day, so come aboard to drink, dine and unwind as you take in the inspiring views from the water. Our lobster boat packs in the good times with full service bars on all three decks, with plenty of room for groups, perfect for after-work cocktails and sunset hangouts. Our frequent sailing schedule makes this your ideal spot for everything from quick lunches and happy hour drinks, to casual dinners and weekend brunches. Our menu features lobster rolls and a fresh raw bar, but we’re not all seafood – there’s something for everyone.
