It's time to get back to in-person networking! Join your friends and colleagues in corporate social responsibility and social impact at our NEW MONTHLY NETWORKING EVENT!!! (Well, the first one in several years) We'll be at a convenient midtown location for a fun evening, including:
6:00 Networking - Mix and mingle, try our fun ice breaker game, and enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks and a delicious array of food from NYC Cooking Club, a social impact business based in Queens
7:00 Program
Introductions - Meet the group's new leadership, sponsor Nautilus Communications, and this month's featured social impact business
Breaking Bias - Q&A with Anu Gupta, MPhil, JD, DEIA expert, TED Talker, and Goldman Sachs Small Business Fellow on the critical role that CSR professionals and social impact business owners can play in breaking racial, gender, sexual, and other biases in the workplace. BE MORE with Anu has trained more than 300 institutions in breaking bias to build more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces, save significant human capital costs, and enhance well-being and performance. Clients have included the American Medical Association, Kaiser Permanente, Northwell Health, UVA Health, Amazon, PBS, IBM, Morgan Stanley, DTCC, Chief, The Shed NY, Brooklyn Navy Yard, NYC Dept of Education, and many others.
There will be time for more networking after the program is done. Mark your calendars for the second Friday of the month with more great speakers, lots of networking, and perhaps YOUR business being featured!
NOTE: A small donation is requested to cover the event costs. However, if you are currently out of work or have otherwise experienced financial challenges, please know you are welcome as our guest.
