Elizabeth Hardwick, Sleepless Nights

We will meet to discuss Elizabeth Hardwick's novel Sleepless Nights (1979), published when the author was 63 and drawing upon many of her own memories and experiences.

We will gather at The Leopard at des Artistes, in the Hotel des Artistes where Hardwick lived. (It is also the location where Lost Generation poet, publisher, and man about town Harry Crosby - no relation to the co-organizer of this group - died in a murder-suicide pact with one of his lovers in 1929.)
